HarperLloyd Recruitment is partnering with a leading national law firm to find a Paralegal to join their Aged Care team in Sydney.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a career legal support professional looking to step into a Paralegal role, or for a law student (1st or 2nd year) seeking hands-on experience while continuing their studies.
With flexibility to work 3–5 days per week, this role offers a rare combination of meaningful work, structure, and work-life balance.
About the Role
You’ll support a busy and well-structured team, assisting with the progression of matters across a process-driven practice.
This is a hands-on role where you’ll gain exposure to file management, client interaction, and matter progression - all within a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
Managing files and progressing matters through key stages
E-filing and maintaining accurate document management systems
Liaising with clients and third parties via phone and email
Following up on documentation, financial status and estates
Supporting the day-to-day running of files
Identifying and escalating complex or sensitive matters
Providing general administrative and clerical support
Who You’ll Be Working With
You’ll join a collaborative national team working across Retirement Living and Aged Care matters.
The team is known for its structured processes, supportive culture and strong training environment, making it ideal for someone looking to build foundational legal experience.

Who Will Fit This Opportunity?
We’re looking for someone who is:
A career Legal Assistant ready to step into a Paralegal role, or
A 1st or 2nd year Law student able to work 3–4 days per week
And who also has:
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
Confidence working across multiple matters and deadlines
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A proactive, process-driven mindset
A willingness to learn and contribute to a team
